Specifications for Louvegrid 1

A. WOODS – LG1-0 and LG1-9

Paint Grade Yellow Poplar

Request quotation for other hardwoods such as Alder, Cherry, Oak, Maple, Walnut and more.

To avoid the possibility of warped stiles and rails, Louvegrid 1 is made with 1-1/8" thick Timberstrand core and 3/8" hardwood edgebanding on two sides (not top and bottom).

5/16" thick veneer facing.

B. SIZES – LG1-0 and LG1-9

Custom sizes are available, framed and unframed.

C. GRID THICKNESSES

1-1/4” – LG1-0
1-3/4” – LG1-0 and LG1-9

D. FRAMING – LG1-0 and LG1-9

Framing is same thickness as grid.
Stile and top rail widths may vary up to 4“.
Bottom rail to 6“.

E. FINISHES – LG1-0 and LG1-9

Unfinished and finished.

Louvegrid paint finish is a pigmented conversion varnish. Standard paint color: Standard White. For other paint colors, supply manufacturer and color name and number. Charges will apply for color sample approval. Custom paint matching is also available.

Louvegrid stain finish is a satin clearcoat conversion varnish. All stain finishes are custom matched.

F. PATTERN

2-1/2” x 1-1/2” is the standard size aperture for LG1-0.

1-1/2" x 1-1/2" (approximate) is the standard size aperture for LG1-9.

Custom size apertures are available. When using our standard size aperture, fractional remainders will be made up by varying stile and rail widths. For more Louvegrid 1 patterns, request catalog.
